4 Trim Levels of the 2024 BMW 8 Series
1. 840i
The base model of the 8 Series comes with a turbocharged 335-horsepower engine with rear-wheel drive and an eight-speed automatic transmission. Both base trims are available with the M Sport Professional Package, which adds M sport brakes, black calipers, a rear spoiler, black grille, and Shadowline exterior accents. 3. M8 Competition
Push the envelope with the M8 Competition, which upgrades the twin-turbo V8 to a 617-hp model. You’ll also enjoy front sport seats, sport-tuned suspension and steering, an enhanced chassis, and performance brakes, transmission, and exhaust. Inside, upgrades include wireless charging, a carbon-fiber roof, and an Alcántara suede headliner. This is the only trim available with carbon-ceramic brakes and carbon-fiber bucket seats.
4. ALPINA B8 xDrive
The ALPINA model comes exclusively in the Gran Coupe four-door body style. This trim has a specially tuned 612-hp engine and displays a unique interior and exterior look. Like the other 8 Series model, you can customize the ALPINA B8 with many high-end options and upgrades.
