EfficientDynamics is essentially a comprehensive suite of technical innovations, vehicle enhancements, and ingenious solutions designed by BMW to improve the efficiency of its vehicles. Driving style analysis also offers handy situation-specific tips on how to adopt a more efficient driving style and conserve fuel. When in ECO PRO driving mode, your driving dynamics will be analyzed and evaluated across a range of categories, and relevant advice is displayed on the vehicle’s Control Panel.

Hybrid-Specific Functions

There are ECO PRO functions designed specifically for BMW’s plug-in hybrid vehicles. Anticipatory hybrid drive distributes the vehicle’s available electric energy across your journey when you activate route guidance in the navigation system.

Consumption-optimized ECO PRO driving mode also helps reduce power consumption in BMW electric vehicles, again by promoting efficient driving styles to extend electric range. The Route-Ahead Assistant also works in tandem with the navigation system to offer advice, like tips on reducing speed in good time on certain parts of the route to avoid inefficient braking.
