1. Memorial Park

Memorial Park is one of the most majestic tourist destinations in Florida. Located near the widest point of the St. Johns River, this park is an ideal place for a picnic, a view of the seasonal blooms, and so much more. Additionally, if you’re a history buff, you will be able to see a list of the Florida Fallen, which are the 1,700 service members who died during World War I.

2. James Weldon Johnson Park

As one of the remaining greens in Jacksonville and the oldest park in the city, James Weldon Johnson Park is a tiny oasis in the middle of the city. This small park offers a humble view of nature with wonderful fountains, flowers, and much more. The park has a lively atmosphere with several events each month, including events for children.

The downtown park is also close to other great photography spots, such as the MOCA museum. Even more impressively, there are various art displays in the park, such as sculpture series by new and past artists, as well as student art sculptures.

3. Jessie Ball duPont Park: Home of the Treaty Oak

This park is home to the Treaty Oak, a tree that is more than 200 years old with a 25-foot trunk. In addition to the tree, the community park has gorgeous architecture and eye-catching views of nature.

4. Jax Beach Pier
