5 Things to Love About the 2024 BMW X3

Luxury amenities meet all-wheel drive capabilities in the sophisticated 2024 BMW X3, a stylish SUV that's now here at your local BMW dealer. Along with turbocharged performance and a first-class interior, this edition provides tech features that can both reduce stress and improve safety on drives, as well as the following five highlights we're sure you'll love. 5 Things to Love About the 2024 BMW X3 at Your BMW Dealer 1. Power Meets Fuel Efficiency While the base engine offered for the X3, a 248-horsepower 2.0-liter I4, is certainly impressive in its own right, the other option, a 3.0-liter I6, takes the limelight with even more power to impress. While it delivers an astounding 473 horsepower as is, this power can be increased to 503 horses with the available Competition Package, and despite its muscular performance, it still manages to get an estimated 26 MPG on highways. more 2. 12.3 Inches of Infotainment As a tech powerhouse that meets virtually all needs, the iDrive 7 Operating System provides entertainment, navigation guidance, and other functions on a vibrant 12.3-inch full-color touchscreen display. With this convenient system, you can simply ask for directions to destinations if you get lost, adjust vehicle settings like driver-assist features and the cabin's temperature, and pair smartphones to it wirelessly to listen to music or access saved phone contacts for hands-free calling. 3. A Luxurious Cabin Space This edition's decadent cabin is also impressive, with heated seats offered for both rows and a wide array of high-end fabrics that include multiple types of leather, as well as BMW's SensaTec, a premium synthetic leather fabric. The panoramic moonroof that comes standard on select models is expansive enough to be enjoyed by everyone, and many unique interior color schemes are available to choose from, like Carbon Fiber, Piano Black Finish, and Smoke Grey Aluminum Rhombicle. 4. Smart Collision Avoidance With Frontal Collision Warning with City Collision Mitigation, you have a forward-looking driver-assist system that can detect objects in your path while ensuring you're aware of them with both audible and visual alerts. If this system detects that a collision is imminent while driving at speeds of 35 mph or higher, it can then prime the brakes to stop before automatically activating them if you can't stop the vehicle quickly yourself. 5. Info on Your Windshield While the interactive driver information cluster behind the steering wheel is always viewable, you don't have to glance down at it when opting for the Head-Up Display. With this feature, you have full-color graphics and information transmitted to an area of the windshield just below your line of vision, which is not only convenient but helps to prevent distractions while driving. While all five of these things offered by the 2024 X3 are noteworthy, they're simply a preview of all the other impressive things this edition has going for it. BMW headlights

Does Your BMW Need New Headlights?

The lifespan of car headlights largely depends on whether you're using halogen bulbs, high-intensity discharge (HID) bulbs, or light-emitting diode (LED) bulbs. Whichever type of headlights your car uses, they'll eventually need replacing. Here are a few common warning signs that headlights are on their last legs. Head down to your nearest BMW dealership for new headlights as soon as you need them. Does Your BMW Need New Headlights? Hazy Headlights Sometimes headlights appear to be failing, but it's actually the lenses that need to be cleaned or replaced. Headlight lenses can become dirtied by dust, mud, salt, and snow from the road, which gradually makes the light hazier. This can usually be remedied by cleaning the lenses. Headlight lenses can also become hazy if the acrylic of the lenses becomes too scratched by myriad little stones flicked up by the tires of other cars. As lenses grow old, UV rays in sunlight can also damage the acrylic through a process of oxidization. In these cases, you may need to install new lenses. more Dimming Bulbs When headlight bulbs begin to fail, they usually dim to some degree. It might not be immediately noticeable if the dimming is very gradual. Nevertheless, you should have your headlight bulbs replaced as soon as you notice they're shining less brightly. After dark, any reduction in brightness reduces your visibility, which can become dangerous. Flickering Light Some headlight bulbs might start to flicker when they grow old or become damaged. Flickering light may indicate a broken or burned-out filament in halogen bulbs. Flickering may also result from a problem with the underlying supply of electrical power, or even damaged wiring. You'll probably need a technician to diagnose and repair the fault. One Bulb Blows When just one headlight bulb blows, you usually need to replace both in the pair. This is to ensure maximum brightness. Once one bulb dies, the other in the pair is rarely far behind and may already have started to dim dramatically. Ask Your BMW Dealer To Upgrade Your Bulbs One way to increase the longevity of your headlights is to have them upgraded. Halogen bulbs only tend to last for 500 to 1,000 miles of usage. Not only are HID bulbs brighter, but they also last for about 5,000 miles on average. The longest-lasting bulbs of all are LED bulbs, which might last as long as 50,000 miles. It's not always possible to upgrade a vehicle's headlights, so you'll need to ask about your options at your local dealership. Have your failing headlights checked and repaired today at Tom Bush BMW Orange Park. We're an award-winning local dealership that's been providing our customers with exceptional new and pre-owned BMW vehicles and high-quality customer service since 2006.

Tom Bush BMW Orange Park Powered by Future Retail & Fourth Generation Ownership

Tom Bush BMW Orange Park recently completed a Future Retail renovation to enhance the experience for their valued customers and provide their dedicated employees with a fresh and inspiring environment. The Bush Family’s Legacy The Bush family's passion for automobiles dates back to 1918 when Tom Bush Sr. opened Bush Motor Company in Louisiana. In 1980, its BMW legacy began in Jacksonville, Florida, with Tom Bush Jr. acquiring his fi rst BMW franchise. In 2006, Tom Jr. and his son John opened BMW of Orange Park. As the years passed, John’s children, Megan Bush Del Pizzo and Brian Bush, joined the dealership, representing the fourth generation of the family. more Pictured above (left to right): Brian Bush and Megan Bush Del Pizzo, Vice Presidents, Tom Bush Family of Dealerships. The Next Generation of Bush With a passion for the automobile industry rooted in their blood, Megan and Brian view the dealership as more than a workplace. Everyone at Tom Bush BMW Orange Park is considered family, and many even got to see Megan’s daughter take her first steps at the dealership. Megan and Brian play crucial roles in the Tom Bush Family of Dealerships, which employs a staff of more than 330 in the Jacksonville area. The family has always embraced progress and has never shied away from emerging technology, exemplified by John Bush’s first job at the dealership computerizing the stores in the 1990s. Megan and Brian continue this focus on technology, leveraging digital marketing, social media, and e-commerce to keep the dealership on the cutting edge. In October 2022, the dealership embarked on a Future Retail renovation that was completed in March 2023. Throughout this period, employees worked out of temporary spaces and every department was able to remain open. “This experience actually brought our team closer together, strengthening our bond and enhancing teamwork,” said Brian Bush. “We faced the challenges of the renovation with resilience and emerged from it with a sense of accomplishment and a deeper sense of unity,” he continued. The planning and execution of the renovation focused heavily on aesthetics to provide the facility with comfort and a modern touch. Notably, a newly enclosed delivery area offers customers a special and memorable experience when purchasing a new vehicle. The upgrades not only enhanced the look and feel with fresh paint and new lighting, but also increased the square footage of the facility with the addition of an enclosed delivery area. According to Telis Assimenios, Chief Operating Officer, “With these updates, the dealership now feels like a brand-new store.” In line with the growth of electric vehicles (EVs), the Future Retail renovation prioritized the integration of EV infrastructure. EV chargers are now in the showroom and New Vehicle Delivery area, and additional chargers were installed in the parking lot for both customers and the general public to utilize. This effort aimed to position the dealership as the go-to destination for EVs in Jacksonville. The Grand Re-Opening Customers, employees, and key community members attended a highly anticipated grand re-opening event on May 11. The occasion was marked by a special ribbon-cutting ceremony in collaboration with the chamber of commerce, symbolizing the dealership’s elevated presence in the community. Highlights of the event included guided tours of the new facility and a mobile service display with two technicians explaining the capabilities of the mobile service offering. The celebration also featured speeches by Megan and Brian, who shared insights into the Future Retail project and the dealership's longstanding ties to the community. Family Atmosphere with Community Ties The dealership prides itself on fostering a strong company culture and environment that mirrors its family ties. This sense of unity extends to all members of the team, creating a supportive and inclusive work environment. With an average employee tenure of 6.5 years across the group, there is deep-rooted loyalty and continuity within the team. One particular employee that shines through is David Levin, the first hire in the parts department of the Orange Park dealership nearly two decades ago.
