Dim Sum translates from Cantonese as “close to the heart” and TimWah goes above and beyond to create flavorful, heartfelt options for these tasty bite-size dumplings. You just have to order the Red Bean Piggy Bun because it’s delicious, but it’s also something to see. It’s a round dumpling shaped into a whimsical pig’s head complete with ears and a snout! Talk about something you’re not going to cook at home for yourself, right?
Fried Pork Dumplings, Salt and Pepper Shrimp, and Rice Noodles with Shrimp are other favorites at TimWah. For dessert, there are sweet varieties of Dim Sum including Custard Egg Tarts. Both hot and sweet tea are available as well as canned soft drinks.

Known for large portions of fresh food at great prices, Fong’s is a takeout place at Girvin Plaza Center on Atlantic. It’s usually best to call in your order ahead before picking it up.
